The Project Patch: Miniature Painting Support and Social Hobby Night at The Goblins Nook Shirley

The Project Patch: Miniature Painting Support and Social Hobby Night at The Goblins Nook Shirley

Most hobby projects don't fail because they're too difficult.

They fail because we get stuck.

Maybe you're new to miniature painting and don't know where to start. Maybe you've got a half-painted Warhammer army gathering dust. Maybe you just want a regular hobby night where you can sit down, paint, and chat with people who enjoy the same hobby.

That's exactly why we're launching The Project Patch at The Goblins Nook Shirley.

Every other Wednesday evening, professional miniature painter Bunny from Black Rabbit Miniature Painting will be in store to help hobbyists of all skill levels make progress on their projects.

If you're new to painting miniatures, Bunny can help with the fundamentals, from choosing paints and brushes to learning techniques such as basecoating, shading, highlighting, and colour selection.

If you're a more experienced painter, bring along a project that's stalled, a technique you'd like to improve, or a model that's been sitting in the pile of shame for a little too long.

But The Project Patch isn't just about painting advice.

It's also a social hobby night. A chance to spend an evening painting alongside other hobbyists, sharing ideas, swapping tips, meeting new people, and making progress on your projects in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Whether you're painting your first miniature, preparing an army for your next tabletop gaming event, or working on a display piece, you'll find a friendly table and plenty of encouragement.

Your £8 ticket includes access to our painting space, use of communal supplies, and support from Bunny throughout the evening.
