How we work out an offer

Every item is valued against its current Games Workshop retail price, adjusted for condition. Depending on whether models are new on sprue, built, painted, or damaged, our offers typically fall between 25% and 40% of current retail, and store credit offers are always higher than cash.

We also factor in demand: how quickly an item actually sells second-hand. In-demand items are valued toward the top of the range and slower sellers toward the bottom. Out-of-production and collectible items are valued individually, and can come in above the range.

Why not full second-hand value?

Second-hand kits in the condition we buy typically resell for around half of retail, and that's before the costs of selling. Selling a collection yourself on eBay means fees of roughly 13%, plus postage and packaging on every parcel, plus the time spent photographing, listing, and posting each lot, and slower items can take months to sell, or not sell at all.

When we buy your collection, we take on all of that instead: the fees, the shelf space, the repair work on damaged kits, and the risk that some of it never sells. Our offer is the price of money in hand today, with zero effort and zero risk.

Our promise

  • If something in your collection is rare or collectible and worth more than the standard rate, such as limited or event exclusive models, we'll tell you and value it accordingly.
  • No pressure: every offer is valid for 14 days, so you're welcome to take it away, compare it against selling yourself, and come back.
