Find a Game Privacy
This covers the Find a Game board. For everything else, see our main privacy policy. The Goblins Nook, Pitt Road, Shirley, Southampton SO15 3FQ, info@thegoblinsnook.co.uk, is responsible for this information.
What we collect
When you post or claim a game, we collect your name, email address, your Discord username (if you give it), your army or deck, any notes you add, and any messages you send in the My Game chat.
Why we use it
To run the board, pair you with an opponent, send you emails about your game (your code, when you're paired, and new chat messages) and post games and pairings on our Discord. We do this because you've asked us to find you a game. We don't use these emails for marketing.
Who can see it
- Everyone: your name, Discord username, army and notes, on the board and on our Discord.
- Your opponent: your email, only if you tick "Let my opponent see my email". You can untick it any time in My Game.
- Us: everything, including chat messages. We can read chats to keep things friendly and sort out problems, and for nothing else.
- Google: the board runs on Google Workspace, so Google stores the data for us.
How long we keep it
Games, emails and chat messages are deleted automatically 30 days after the game.
Age
Find a Game is for players aged 13 and over. Younger players can ask a parent or guardian to post for them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your Find a Game information by emailing info@thegoblinsnook.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
