Pro Arte Prolon: one range to paint the whole army

Prolon (Series 430) is Pro Arte's tough synthetic brush on a traditional round handle. It gives a smooth flow and a reliable point, and the sizes run from fine detail right up to the bigger brushes you want for basecoating tanks, monsters, bases and terrain.

Perfect for 28mm and 32mm miniatures: faces, eyes and highlights on the small sizes, then armour plates, cloaks and big areas on the larger ones.

Which size? 3/0 and 0 for detail and highlights. 2 and 4 for basecoats and layering on infantry. 6 and the 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" sizes for tanks, big monsters, bases and terrain.

Look after it: thin your paints, don't let paint creep up into the ferrule, and give it a wash with brush soap after every session. Your brush will keep its point a lot longer.
